The Alumni search provides fields for finding a person classified as a firm alumni. Users can narrow the search by name, office, and other fields. Only contacts assigned the contact type Alumni will be found when using this form.
The following table summarizes how the default criteria fields on the Alumni search map to InterAction fields.
Note that in addition to any criteria the user enters in the fields, the search only finds contacts that have the Alumni contact type.

| Last Name | The last name for a person. This searches the Last Name field in InterAction. |
| Company | This finds firm alumni who work at companies with the specified name. This searches both the Company Name and Company Also Known As fields. |
| Office |
The Office additional field in the Personnel Information folder. In a new installation, the Office field does not have any list items. For details, see Firm-Specific List Items for Additional Fields. To customize the list, add or edit the list items for the Office additional field in the Personnel Information folder. |
| Practice Group/Department |
The Practice Group\Dept. (All) field in the Personnel Information folder. Note that this is separate from the Practice Group\Dept. (Primary) field. In a new installation, the Practice Group / Dept. (All) field does not have any list items. Note the department information for your firm’s personnel should be entered in this additional field, not in the “Department” field included on every contact. The Department field is primarily provided for contacts outside of your firm, where it would be impractical to maintain a drop-down list. |
| Level | The Level additional field in the Personnel Information folder. In a new installation, the Level field does not have any list items. |
| Include Activities/Appointments in this search | Check box that displays activity criteria fields. This can be used to find alumni based on activity criteria. |
