The People search provides criteria for finding a person. This search is useful for finding contacts using basic criteria such as name, type of contact, or address details such as city or state.
For example, a professional might use this form to find contacts in a particular city.
The following table summarizes how the criteria fields on the People search map to InterAction fields.

| First Name | The first name for a person. This searches the First Name field in InterAction. |
| Last Name | The last name for a person. This searches the Last Name field in InterAction. |
| Company | The company name field. This finds people who work at the specified company. This searches both the Company Name and Company Also Known As fields. |

| Job Title | The job title for a person |
| Contact Type | The contact type. For example, a user can select “Prospect” to find only contacts classified with the prospect contact type. The drop-down list contains all contact types defined in your system that can apply to people. To customize this list, add or edit the contact types for your environment. |
| City | The City address field. This finds people that have a mailing address with the specified city. |
| State/Province | The State/Province address field. This finds people that have a mailing address with the specified state or province. |
| ZIP Code | The zip / postal code field. This finds people that have a mailing address with the specified postal code. |
| Country | The Country address field. This finds people that have a mailing address with the specified country. |
| Include Activities/Appointments in this search | Check box that displays activity criteria fields. This can be used to find people based on activity criteria. |
