Dictionaried additional fields are used for special processing. These fields are set out of the box and normally need to be configured only for upgraded environments and other special situations.

Displaying Fields on the Contact Details Dialog Box
The Contact Details dialog box is available from personal information managers and from InterAction Objects.

Set Dictionaried Additional Fields
You can specify dictionaried additional fields in InterAction Administrator.
Before you can specify an additional field as a dictionaried additional field, it must exist in the InterAction database.
- In InterAction Administrator, double-click Dictionaried Additional Fields.
- Select the Dictionaried Field Name you wish to change and choose Edit.

Select the additional field you wish to use for the dictionaried additional field and choose OK.
To select a folder-specific additional field, select the Browse button.
Note that the Summary Additional Fields and Desktop Integration Summary Fields can only be set to global additional fields.
Clear a Dictionaried Additional Field
You may need to clear a dictionaried additional field. For example, if it references a field you want to delete, you need to disassociate the dictionaried field from the field to delete first.
- In InterAction Administrator, double-click Dictionaried Additional Fields.
- Choose Clear.
- When prompted to confirm the change, choose Yes.
