Controlling Which Users Can See the Financial Data for a Client
Some organizations do not want all Web Client users to be able to view the client financial information displayed on Client profile. You can control which users are allowed to see this information by setting Read access rights on the Client Financial Information folder.
Any user with Read access rights to the folder will be able to see the financial information fields in the Web Client. Any user without Read access rights to the folder will not see the values for these fields.
In a new installation of InterAction, only the following users and groups have access rights to the Client Financial Information folder:
- System Administrator User
- Data Administrators (group)
- Client Administrators (group)
If others in your firm should be allowed to see this information, you need to assign rights to Client Financial Information folder.
You use the Windows Client to assign access rights. For instructions, see Assigning Access Rights for a Folder.
