The Notes section of the Overview page for a person or company displays the notes for a contact. For a firm contact, this displays the firm notes, which are stored in the global notes field in InterAction. For a user contact, this displays the user’s personal notes for the contact (“My Notes”).
If the contact is both in the firm list and in the user’s list, the user can select to view either firm or personal notes.
If the user navigates to the Overview page from the page for a working list or marketing list, the notes area includes an item for the working list / marketing list notes. For instance, the user Ed Roberts was viewing a particular working list. He selected to view the Overview page for one of the contacts on the list, so the Notes nugget includes an item for displaying the working lists notes.

Editing Notes From the Overview Page
The Notes section includes an Edit link that displays a window for editing the notes. Users can select the Insert Date/Name link to “stamp” the notes with their name and current date. The Web Client uses the date from the workstation the user is using, not the server.
Note that the date format used for notes is the following and can not be configured:
[4-digit year]-[2-digit month]-[day of the month]
For example, January 24, 2019 is inserted as: “2019-01-24”
The name is the logged-on user’s name in the format of First Last.
