An update is available for Windows Client, Admin Client and Application Collaboration Client. This updated database library set replaces the legacy SourcePro/RogueWave database library with a cutting-edge POCO library, optimized for speed and efficiency.
By applying this quick update to power user workstations, which can take as little as 30 minutes, you'll be able to take advantage of performance improvements, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
This version 9 update is version agnostic. This update can run against older versions of Core on power user’s workstations which allows customers to start using this update without needing to upgrade their currently installed InterAction version.

Applying the updates now will also position you well for the v9.1 upgrade, set for Q1 2025, which will deliver a full version of all InterAction components. Steps to Apply the Update
- Log in to InterAction Support site.
- Go to the Downloads page.
- Open the Version 9 Updates page.
- Verify the updates needed on the workstation the user or administrator is updating. This can be the v9.01 Windows Client update, the v9.01 Admin Client update or the v9.01 Application Collaboration update. That can be all 3, 2 or just 1 of the updates.
- The user or administrator should also note any requirements for this update on the Download page. For example, a required database update, minimum App Server version, and so on. The user or administrator should verify their InterAction environment to determine if the requirements are met and if not work with their System Administrator to update their InterAction environment to meet the requirements.
- Download the v9.01 updates that are needed.
- Apply the v9.01 updates on the workstation being updated. If there are any special instructions those would be noted on the Update page.
- A firm can go workstation by workstation to apply this update. They can do this over days or weeks.
- A firm can choose to apply one update today (e.g. Windows Client) and a different update (e.g. Admin Client) the next day or week. Mixed environments are supported (v8 Admin Client and v9.01 Windows Client)
- The user should use the updated v9.01 client to verify it updated successfully.
