InterAction has the ability to export user account information to a file. This may be useful when deploying InterAction or for reporting.
You must enter your InterAction Account Number before you can export user accounts. This number is included on the license card provided with your InterAction shipment. To enter it in InterAction Administrator, choose Administer > Manage InterAction Licenses.
For each user, InterAction exports the following fields:
- InterAction Account Number (note that this will be the same for each user)
- User Account ID
- User Account Name
- Professional Indicator (1 or Yes for professional users, 0 or No for non-professional users)
- Contact First Name for the User
- Contact Middle Name for the User
- Contact Last Name for the User
- Business Address
- Location
- E-mail Address
- Active/Inactive Status
Note that only users associated with contacts can be exported - any users not associated with contacts are skipped.
To export users, do the following:
- Log on to InterAction Administrator.
- From the main window entity list, double-click User Account and Group Configuration, then choose User Accounts to open the Manage User dialog box.
- Mark the users to export by checking the far left column. A blue check mark appears next to each marked user (
).
Under Apply Setting to Marked Users, select Export user account information from the Action drop-down list.
- Choose Apply.
Enter the location and filename for the export file and choose Save.
InterAction Administrator exports the user account information. Any accounts that could not be exported are displayed in a dialog box.
